We need to send a letter to Mayor Mike and Police Chief Paula Meara. We would like them to know we would like
to see more community police.
WNEC parties are going very well.
Not too much trouble. Grant
money is hopefully coming to help to check house parties.
Newsletter----Karen Powell has decided not to do the newsletter
anymore. Thank You Karen for all
your help. Terry Dumais will be
doing the newsletter. She needs a
Word Program Disk.
We are always looking for news.
Please call Jean Masse or any member of the Board.
December meeting will be about the By-Laws. Thank You committee for all your
help. Jim Gregory, Clodo
Conception, Peter Fett, Ed Mack and Bob Chandler.
We need a phone tree-----anyone wishing to help with this, call Jean Masse.
The SACA wants to cancel the January meeting and the Board Of Directors and the newsletter. A motion was made and discussed and passed by all present.
Walbaum’s Food Mart can drive for the Open Pantry went well. We topped the figures for food and money from last year. The can drive went well at some schools and not so well at others. Glickman School collected the most. One child went above and beyond when collecting. That child and family will be invited to come to the SACA Holiday Social. A motion was made and passed.
Send thank you cards to WNEC College Criminal Justice for helping out at the Food Drive.
Meeting dates--------December 18, 2001
January------no meeting
February 19, 2001
Clodo Conception talked about how more officers and Board of Directors need to be at the meetings. Participation is very important.
Respectfully Submitted,
Ruth L. Moorhouse
